My name is Mr. Stanley, and I will be your child's second grade teacher. I am from Fort Dodge and have been teaching for the past 33 years in Fort Dodge. I am so excited to begin this school year and look forward to watching your child grow!
Your child will bring home their planner and take-home folder each night. The week's spelling words will be written in the planner. Spelling posttests will be on Fridays. There will be some weeks when there are no spelling words, and your child will make note of that in their planner. Other homework, when given, is due the next day. If homework is unable to be completed due to other plans, please write to me in your child's planner. They can be given additional time.
